Stephen has been providing advice and care to women in obstetrics, gynaecology, fertility and reproductive health for over 14 years. As a father of three, Stephen understands that there is no greater joy than the safe arrival of a new baby. He works closely with you to fully understand your preferred approach to labour and delivery and provides honest and straight-forward advice at all times.

In addition to his professional expertise in treating infertility and recurrent miscarriage, his personal experience with these issues provides him with a unique insight into the physical and psychological challenges women face when they are trying to conceive. He is passionate about staying abreast of the latest and most effective treatment options, ensuring families have the best possible chance of success. Stephen is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has been a regular assessor of overseas and Australian students and doctors.

He was previously the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Redlands Hospital where he provided specialist care on high risk obstetric and gynaecological cases. He is committed to providing the highest level of care for women in the journey towards parenthood and beyond. Stephen’s ability to explain even the most complex of medical treatments in an easy to understand manner is always appreciated by his patients and has earned him a prized University of Queensland School of Medicine clinical teaching award.

 

Natalie

Clinical Treatment Coordinator

Natalie came on board in 2015 as our experienced clinical manager and has helped to grow our brand to what it is today. Natalie is proud to represent all of which our philosophy stands for. As our clinical coordinator, Natalie oversees the day-to-day operations
of our clinic along with caring for our patients and acting as a liaison between patients, Dr Elgey and health care professionals. Natalie is responsible for ensuring our patients understand their treatment plan, scheduling appointments, discussing lab testing and assisting outpatient procedures. 


Driven by invaluable knowledge in health science, Natalie’s goal is for every patient to have bespoke and personalised care for their
individual journey. Natalie is committed to delivering the best possible outcome for all our patients through genuine care and for her passion and valuable experience in reproductive health.

You will often find Natalie alongside Stephen during clinical procedures and she is here to assist you with your gynaecological and fertility treatment questions. You can be assured you are in trusting care and a wealth of knowledge when speaking with Natalie. With a broad knowledge of women’s health and special interest in skin conditions and treatments.  

In addition to her primary role, Natalie has been recognised by community health providers for her knowledge in the field and commitment to her role. Away from work, Natalie is an adoring mum and freelance writer with publishing in both international and national online magazines. Natalie continues to expand her expertise in reproductive health and and is currently studying dermal science.
 

Madeleine

Senior Secretary

Madeleine joined our team in November 2020 after graduating year 12.

Over the past two years Maddy has excelled in her position with her intelligence, patient care and strong capabilities in managing our paediatric patient clinic each Monday. Maddy has built a strong relationship with our paediatric families as well as supporting our patients on their fertility journey.

Between her time with us, Maddy is pursuing her dual degree in a Bachelor of Law / Bachelor of Finance at Queensland University of Technology.

 

 

Tyra

Patient Care

Tyra joined our team at the start of 2022 as we expanded our services in reproductive health care along South East Queensland.

Tyra is a passionate advocate for womens reproductive health and believes all young women should have access to free period products, following the lead of New Zealand’s ‘end to period poverty’ campaign.

Like Maddy, Tyra completed her year 12 studies at the end of 2022 and between her time with us, Tyra is studying a dual degree in Bachelor of Law / Bachelor of Finance and Queensland University of Technology.
